Have you ever thought about donating your eggs, but weren’t quite sure if you would be a good candidate? If the following 7 traits describe you, you just might be the perfect egg donor!

1. You Have Good Physical Health

We love to see egg donors who appreciate the feeling of helping others in such an indescribably rewarding way. If you have a giving spirit and love to make a positive impact in others’ lives, you have one of the best traits we love to see!

2. You Have Good Physical Health

You must be physically healthy to become an egg donor. We love donors that lead an active lifestyle and have a healthy BMI, do not smoke, and have no severe health problems.

3. You Have Good Mental Health

The screening process includes a psychological evaluation to confirm that you have no history of any severe psychological conditions, and to make sure you feel emotionally ready for the process.

4. You’re 18-31 Years Old

This is the age range of prime fertility; cycling donors between these ages allows us to offer the very best quality of eggs to our recipients!

5. You Can be Flexible

We try our best to work around job and school obligations, however, scheduling conflicts can still occur. Once we’ve contacted you to start cycling, you’ll have 3-4 monitoring appointments and you’ll need to take the entire day off on retrieval day. Our doctors will happily provide a note to excuse you from any activities you’ll miss.

6. You’re Comfortable with Needles

Although becoming an egg donor is an extremely rewarding experience, it’s not always an easy task to take on! There will be self-administered injections and frequent blood draws. If you have a fear of needles, you may find egg donation challenging.

7. You Can Commit

A lot of time and effort goes into donating eggs for everyone involved. The screening alone usually takes 2-3 months to complete. If commitment and patience are some of your strong traits, then you may be a great egg donor!
