The World Egg & Sperm Bank
— Website Privacy Policy
Effective date: 11/03/2025
Quick summary: We collect contact information, application details you choose to submit, and technical data (like cookies) to operate our website, respond to inquiries, run our donor programs, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for crosscontext behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide optout controls.
1) Who we are & scope
The World Egg & Sperm Bank (“TWESB”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates this website and related pages (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information obtained through the Site and our webbased forms, portals, and texting tools that link to this Policy.
2) Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: (a) directly from you; (b) automatically through the Site and other websites or apps we operate; and (c) from third parties with your approval or as permitted by law.

education/employment), and responses to screening questionnaires. - Sensitive information you choose to submit including but not limited to limited
healthrelated information relevant to screening (e.g., height/weight ranges,
general medical history) and government IDs (e.g., driver’s license) for identity
verification where applicable, and your Social Security Number (SSN) - Communications: messages, support requests, survey responses, and
SMS/MMS text message interactions with our program (see §8). This includes
but is not limited to: email, phone/video calls, and physical letters.

pages viewed, time/date stamps, referral/exit pages, and interactions with forms. - Cookies & similar technologies: small files placed on your device to remember
preferences, keep you signed in, perform analytics, and improve Site

email/SMS platforms, and web analytics) may provide aggregate or accountlevel
information. - We may utilize identity verification, background, or eligibility service

We use information for the following purposes:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site, portals, and services.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws). If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide the required “right to opt out” links.
6) Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above, comply with legal, regulatory, and audit requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type; for example, routine web logs are typically retained for up to 12 months, application and eligibility records for as long as your application is active plus required archival periods, and financial records for at least 7 years or as required by law. When no longer needed, we delete or deidentify information.
