A Pandemic Valentines Day

February 14th, arguably the most romantic (and cheesy) day of the year. However, celebrating Valentine’s Day in 2021 cannot be the usual going out to a ridiculously fancy (and equally expensive) dinner or embarking on an intimate weekend getaway. But just because the cliché Valentine’s Day rituals are out of the question, doesn’t mean you can’t have an exceptional and romantic holiday with your loved one, with this list of COVID approved ideas:

1. Cook dinner together!
Pick out a new recipe from Pinterest or recreate your food from yourfrom your first date! This can easily be done while celebrating long distance too. Facetime, Zoom, or Skype one another while you cook and then enjoy an intimate computer screen-lit dinner.

2. Go on a picnic!
Pack up your favorite meal (home cooked or take out), drinks, candles, and a blanket and head out to a local park, scenic outlook, the beach, or your living room. Please make sure you adhere to COVID protocols in your area.

3. Have a movie marathon!
Get your favorite takeout or cook at home and end the night with your favorite movie to watch together. This date is also long-distance inclusive using websites like Netflix Party, which allows you to simultaneously watch Netflix while on a video call.

4. Make gifts for each other! Making your own gifts for each other is such an easy way to make your celebration special and unique, while saving money. The opportunities with this date are endless, and many can be done long-distance.

Valentine’s Day is truly as special as you make it. Do not be discouraged by the inability to go out, travel, or buy lavish gifts. Money does not equal love and money does not equal effort. Read more about our COVID approved ideas on our blog.

Horoscope: AQUARIUS

Your enthralling imagination makes you the dream donor. Maybe you imagine what the donation process would truly feel like on an emotional level and sometimes find yourself thinking about the Intended Parents’ emotions. The ability to use your imagination on this level, while rare, makes you one of the most powerful types of donor.

The Pets of TWEB

TOBY & MILO

Toby and Milo are the fur babies of our Administrative Assistant, Emily. The boys are half brothers, only a year apart in age, and both Golden Doodles.

Milo (pictured on the left) just turned 2, and is the best behaved boy you will ever meet. He is known for being the biggest baby ever, scared of everything from spoons to loud noises, and for giving the best hugs. As a puppy, Emily taught him how to hug by standing on his back legs and wrapping his arms around your shoulders. All you have to do is put your arms out for a hug like you would with a human! On the other hand, Toby (pictured on the right) just turned 1, and is known for being a bit of a naughty boy. His favorite pass times are digging holes and chewing the sprinkler system. He also enjoys rearranging the rugs when left home alone. Toby loves laying in the hammock with Emily when she reads too! We love Toby and Milo and look forward to sharing more pets from our office with you very soon!
