New Year, New You:
How To Make 2021 The Best Yet

The past year was a wild ride to say the least. From a world-wide pandemic, murder hornets, raging wildfires, the list of 2020’s offenses goes on and on. This past year has been more about surviving, and it is important to note that this is completely understandable. When reflecting on this past year be kind to yourself.

As cliché as it sounds, the New Year brings new beginnings and a renewed sense of motivation. Do you know how to properly harness this drive and create effective goals? It is not as easy as it seems. So how can you set yourself up for success in your New Year’s resolutions? Here are The World Egg Bank’s top three tips:

  1. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. Remaining realistic is critical when it comes to goal setting. Taking on too much at once sets your self up for failure. Try focusing on one or two smaller goals.
  2. Have a plan of action. Now that you have your goal, how do you plan on accomplishing it? Think about everything this goal entails and create a list of things you need to do. Using this list create a timeline or checklist for yourself and follow it.
  3. Be flexible. If 2020 taught us anything it’s that life happens. Give yourself more flexibility when it comes to completing your goals, you’re only human.

Horoscope: CAPRICORN

Although your overall disposition may linger on the serious side, Capricorn, your tenacity to complete goals reverberates through you. You don’t need someone guiding you from one interest to the next and truly enjoy the time you get to spend alone. Many people may not understand how you are able to foster such independence, however, finding unique tasks to busy your time and mind are very helpful to you here. Your natural internal ability to grip strongly to items deemed worthy of your attention make you a reliable donor.
