How many times can you donate sperm?

So, how many times can you donate sperm at The World Egg and Sperm Bank? Once you have passed your initial test sample to ensure the health and quality of your sperm, you can donate 1-3 times per week at our facility. You can schedule these appointments easily online through our Calendly link. This allows you to choose times that work within your personal schedule, whether you stop by after work or before your morning commute! Our Sperm bank team is also available via phone call or text to confirm or reschedule appointments when or if it is needed.

 

How long does it take to donate sperm?

For a single donation, you can enjoy the comfortable privacy that our sperm bank provides. You won’t need to worry about running into other donors, as we scatter our sperm donor appointments, so our full focus is on you! Our sperm bank is clearly separated from our egg bank with an exclusive area for sperm donors to park and enter the facility. Once you’ve checked in with our helpful sperm reception, you can enter our spacious and exclusive donation rooms. We encourage donors to take the necessary time you need to complete your donation, with the materials we’ve provided to assist you.

 

What are the steps to become a sperm donor?

Apply

To kick off the journey, you’ll create an account on our website and fill out our speedy application. This form will decide whether you meet the necessary beginning qualifications to become a donor. It’ll ask questions like your age, location, height and weight, as well as your reasons for donating.

 

Meet with Our Sperm Bank Team

If you are accepted within the application, you’ll head over to our facility to meet our team and discuss the next steps to get you through the screening process as efficiently as possible.

 

Complete a Test Sample

Our sperm bank team must collect and test your sperm for multiple quality and quantity standards, making sure the sperm has good movement, shape and size, as well as considering sperm count and percent of live sperm.

 

Complete Health Screening

Our health screening process will include:

  • First and secondary blood draws.
  • Urine sample.
  • General physical exam by our MD.
  • Genetic counseling- You will meet with our certified genetic counselor to review the results of your genetic blood draw.
  • Psychological screening- You will meet with our certified, friendly psychologist, to inform and evaluate your understanding and willingness to donate.

Keeping in mind how many times you can donate sperm; you can schedule up to 3 appointments per week for the remainder of your journey to finish your donation cycles.

 

 

What are the requirements to be a sperm donor?

  • Between the ages of 18 and 39
  • In good physical and mental health
  • Within driving distance of our facility in Scottsdale, Arizona
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent residency the United States

 

Do I get reimbursed per donation?

As a sperm donor, for your time and efforts, you will be reimbursed $100 per donation, and up to $1,200 a month based on the frequency of your donations. Besides reimbursement, there are a multitude of benefits from donating your sperm:

  • A sense of fulfillment knowing you gave an aspiring couple or single parent the wonderful gift of parenthood.
  • Free genetic testing to further understand your genetic and reproductive health if you decide to have a child in the future.
